  1. Dr. Kim was such an amazing man. I remember, vividly meeting him in November 2007. We were privileged to be invited to have lunch with him and his daughter, as well as listening to him tell us about how and why he founded Eastern, and his never ending, tireless work on the behalf of the children of Korea and the women who chose to give them life, then had the tough decision to place them for adoption. He was bright, funny, kind, and had so much love for Korea and it's children, as well as love and respect for the adoptive parents.

Watching him as he prayed with us, for our daughter and her new life in America, I couldn't help but think that what a true blessing he was to Korea, to Eastern, and to all of the families whose lives he had touched.

He will be greatly missed, Rest in Peace Dr. Kim, and Thank You for all you did! May your daughter continue to support your legacy!!!
