SECOND: Asian New Year and what this means....

Tomorrow, February 9th, is  the Asian NEW YEARS DAY!

To the Asian world 2013 is the year if the snake. This 2013 year of Snake is meant for steady progress and attention to detail. Focus and discipline will be necessary for you to achieve what you set out to create. The Snake is the sixth sign of the Chinese Zodiac, which consists of 12 Animal Signs. It is the enigmatic, intuitive, introspective, refined and collected of the Animals Signs. Ancient Chinese wisdom says a Snake in the house is a good omen because it means that your family will not starve.

But what does this mean for us in the adoption world...
Bad News First:
China will be on vacation for a week. Meaning NO papers processed, NO translation, NO MOVEMENT AT ALL. oh boy...and that all the time lines we had hoped to have must now be pushed back a week... ugh
Korea will only be closed on Monday. (Sorry Regina!)

CHEER US UP WITH THE GOOD NEWS NOW:
So because China is partying all next week... SO WILL AAC!

Now is a great time to drop by and visit. Bring us cookies (we love cookies...) or something yummy and we will take time out of our paper pushing and grab a cup of coffee with you and catch up.

Side note:We will still be working the whole week. We don't stop because they do. WE JUST LOVE COOKIES and any excuse to grab a cup of coffee we will take it. :)
